JARRED
Managing Director
Jarred Farmer founded South Lincs Security, now trading as SLS UK, in 2018 after identifying an opportunity to raise standards across the private security industry. With more than 14 years of experience spanning retail security, door supervision, event safety and business leadership, Jarred has built the company around a simple philosophy: deliver exceptional security services while creating a workplace where people genuinely feel valued.
Having worked for a number of security providers throughout his career, Jarred recognised that professionalism, reliability and customer service were too often inconsistent. Determined to do things differently, he established SLS UK with a clear commitment to providing highly trained personnel, industry-leading technology and outstanding client care, while fostering a positive, supportive culture for every member of the team.
As Managing Director, Jarred oversees all aspects of the business, including strategic growth, operations, compliance, client relationships and service delivery. His unwavering focus on high standards, professional presentation and continuous improvement has helped establish SLS UK as one of the UK's fastest-growing independent security providers, delivering trusted security solutions nationwide.
Jarred's leadership and vision have been recognised across the industry, including being named SHBA's Up and Coming Business Person of the Year, while SLS UK was awarded Commercial Security Company of the Year 2025. He remains passionate about investing in both people and technology, ensuring the business continues to innovate while maintaining the family values and customer-first approach that have been at the heart of SLS UK since day one.
WARREN
Director
As a Director and co-owner of SLS UK, Warren Kazombiaze has been part of the business since its inception, helping shape the company’s growth, standards and long-term direction from day one. With a strong focus on leadership, customer service and professional security delivery, Warren plays a key role in ensuring SLS UK continues to provide reliable, effective and client-focused security solutions.
Having helped build the company from its early foundations, Warren has remained committed to raising standards across the industry and ensuring every service is delivered with professionalism, consistency and care. His work spans site security, asset protection, event support, operational standards and client relationships, with a clear emphasis on trust, reliability and delivering solutions tailored to each client’s needs.
As Director, Warren supports the continued development of the business, working closely with the wider leadership team to maintain high standards across operations, service delivery and team performance. His calm, professional approach and commitment to doing things properly have helped strengthen SLS UK’s reputation as a trusted independent security provider serving clients across Lincolnshire and beyond.
Warren is particularly passionate about teamwork, professionalism and creating safe, well-managed environments for clients, staff and the public. Whether supporting major events, site security operations or the ongoing growth of the company, he remains dedicated to ensuring SLS UK delivers dependable security services with the standards, values and attention to detail that have defined the business since the beginning.
ROB
Sales Director
As Sales Director at SLS UK, Rob Buswell leads the company’s commercial strategy, helping drive national growth, strategic partnerships and long-term client relationships across multiple sectors. With a strong background in sales leadership, business development and high-footfall operational environments, Rob plays a key role in expanding SLS UK’s presence and ensuring clients receive reliable, professional and tailored security solutions.
Having joined the business with experience across travel, events, hospitality and large-scale operations, Rob brings a commercial approach built around understanding client needs, identifying opportunities and delivering genuine value beyond traditional security provision. His work spans venues, stadiums, arenas, sporting organisations, local authorities, construction companies and major events, with a clear focus on partnership-led growth.
As Sales Director, Rob supports the continued development of the business, working closely with the wider leadership team to strengthen SLS UK’s national footprint and promote its full range of security and event safety services. His approach combines commercial strategy, negotiation, operational understanding and client care, ensuring every solution is aligned to the specific risks, objectives and requirements of each organisation.
Rob is particularly passionate about building meaningful business relationships, creating safer environments and helping organisations improve security through professionalism, innovation and reliable service delivery. Whether supporting new partnerships, major event opportunities or the growth of SLS UK’s Command Centre and technology-led solutions, he remains focused on delivering national capability with local responsiveness.
NIAMH
Marketing Manager
As Marketing Manager at SLS UK, Niamh leads the company's marketing, branding and communications strategy, playing a key role in strengthening the SLS UK brand and supporting its continued national growth. Since joining the business in 2025, she has helped drive the company's expansion into new sectors and locations through creative marketing and strategic business support.
Alongside overseeing social media, content creation, digital campaigns and brand development, Niamh manages the company's ISO 9001 accreditation and supports a number of other compliance and accreditation processes. She also acts as SLS UK's Nest Pension Advisor, ensuring employee pension administration is managed accurately while providing additional support to the finance team when required.
Creative, organised and highly driven, Niamh combines innovative marketing with strong compliance expertise. Whether developing the SLS UK brand, maintaining industry accreditations or supporting business growth, she plays an integral role in the continued success, professionalism and reputation of SLS UK.
BEN
General Manager
As General Manager at SLS UK, Ben oversees the day-to-day running of the company's offices, supporting operations across our Spalding, York and Portsmouth locations. Having been with the business since 2018, he has become one of our longest-serving team members, playing a key role in maintaining the smooth operation of the business and supporting teams across multiple departments.
Alongside his office responsibilities, Ben manages fleet administration, staff accommodation and general office operations while providing practical support wherever it is needed. Outside the office, he regularly supervises frontline security teams, leads our specialist K9 division alongside his protection dog Jackson, and supports the company's 24/7 emergency call-out service.
Reliable, versatile and highly experienced, Ben combines strong operational knowledge with extensive frontline expertise. Whether supporting office operations, managing resources or leading security deployments, he plays an integral role in ensuring SLS UK continues to deliver the professional, dependable service our clients and employees have come to expect.
LUKE
Operations Manager
As Operations Manager at SLS UK, Luke is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of our nationwide operations, ensuring contracts are delivered safely and to the highest professional standard. Having been with the company since its foundation in 2018, he is one of our longest-serving team members and possesses an exceptional understanding of our operations and workforce.
Luke works closely with our management team, supervisors and frontline personnel to coordinate deployments, support workforce planning and maintain operational excellence across the business. He also plays a key role in supporting staff, resolving operational challenges and overseeing our 24/7 emergency response capability, ensuring clients and employees always have access to experienced management support.
Highly respected for his knowledge, reliability and calm approach under pressure, Luke combines years of operational experience with strong leadership and a commitment to service excellence. Whether managing deployments, supporting our teams or maintaining client relationships, he plays an integral role in ensuring SLS UK continues to deliver the professional, dependable service our clients have come to expect.
STEPHEN
IT Manager
As IT Manager at SLS UK, Stephen leads the company's technology infrastructure, ensuring our systems, platforms and operational technology continue to support the business as it grows nationally. Having been with SLS UK since 2023, he plays a vital role in developing innovative technology that enhances both operational efficiency and client service.
Alongside managing the company's IT infrastructure, Stephen leads the development of internal technology projects, including our Staff Portal App, scheduling systems and Command Centre technology. He also works closely with AXON on technology integration, supports marketing with engagement and analytics platforms, and oversees the technical delivery of new digital solutions across the business.
JORDAN
Operational Support
Jordan has been part of SLS UK for a number of years, becoming one of the company's most trusted and dependable operational leaders. As UK Operational Support, he plays a key role in frontline service delivery, regularly leading teams across sporting venues, major events and high-profile deployments while ensuring every operation is delivered safely and professionally.
Holding multiple SIA licences and an advanced FREC3 qualification, Jordan is responsible for leading on-site briefings, supervising security teams and maintaining the highest operational standards throughout every deployment. His leadership, professionalism and calm approach under pressure make him an invaluable part of SLS UK, helping ensure our people, clients and event operations consistently perform to the highest standard.
JAY
Fleet & Operations Coordinator
Jay has been part of SLS UK since the company was founded in 2018, making him one of the longest-serving and most experienced members of the team. As UK Operational Support, he plays a key role in frontline operations, providing hands-on support across our nationwide deployments while helping ensure the highest standards are maintained in the field.
With extensive experience in operational delivery, asset protection and quality assurance, Jay leads our quality control inspections, supports operational deployments and manages the day-to-day running of the SLS Pitstop, where the company's vehicle fleet is maintained and prepared for service. His practical knowledge, attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence make him an invaluable part of SLS UK, helping ensure our people, equipment and fleet consistently perform to the highest standard.
KATY
Credit Control Manager
As Credit Control Manager at SLS UK, Katy leads the company's credit control function, bringing extensive experience in income administration and financial management across the utilities, housing and supply chain sectors. Having worked with organisations including Anglian Water, Sanctuary Group and LDH La Doria, she has developed a strong reputation for effective cash-flow management, accounts receivable and client relationship management.
Highly organised and detail-focused, Katy oversees outstanding accounts, supports the company's financial performance and helps maintain strong commercial relationships. Holding a BA (Hons) from the University of Portsmouth, she plays an important role in maintaining the financial strength and continued growth of SLS UK.
JULIA
Welfare Manager
As Staff Welfare Manager at SLS UK, Julia leads the company's employee wellbeing function and serves as the first point of contact for our teams, providing day-to-day support across the business. With extensive experience in people management and specialist mental health training, she plays a key role in supporting employee wellbeing, managing sensitive situations and promoting a positive workplace culture.
